Ecologia de poblacions i demografia d’amfibis i rèptils pirinencs
Els Pirineus són una excepció climàtica i biogeogràfica dins la Península Ibèrica. La seva fauna herpetològica és el resultat de la combinació de diversos endemismes amb espècies meridionals de clima mediterrani i espècies continentals de clima temperat i humit. La influència de les condicions d’alta muntanya sobre els amfibis i rèptils s’està estudiant en aspectes com la morfologia, ecologia i demografia en espècies com la sargantana pallaresa (Iberolacerta aurelioi), el llangardaix pirinenc (Lacerta agilis), la serp llisa septentrional (Coronella austriaca), el tritó palmat (Lissotriton helveticus) o el tritó pirinenc (Calotriton asper).
